Open File screen always opens in full screen

I know it's probably a small thing, but somehow every time I open a new file, the Open File box open as a full screen box. It didn't used to do that, but I guess I hit the wrong combination of keys. I have tried to drag the box xmaller, but it won't work. Anyone have any ideas?
