Option to Restore Previous Zoom Tool (Magnifying Glass) Behavior

Hi. Can you please bring back previous Magnifying glass' behaviour? Or give us an option to choose new or old one? I definitely prefer to mark an area to zoom in and I assume I'm not the only one.

    The setting was moved into GPU-Settings > animated zoom. I disabled animated zoom, and now i can use the magnifying glass with the good old selection rectangle.
