OTF font issue: installing italic replaces roman style

As my TrueType version of Janson Text stopped working I downloaded an OTF version of both Regular and Italic style. Installing Regular works fine but when I'm installing Italic I get asked if I want to Replace or Keep Both. Of course I want to keep both the Regular and Italic variants but after clicking Keep Both the Italic works fine but all text set in Regular go back to being highlighed in pink. Same thing happen to all text set in italic if I then try to install Regular.


How can I solve this problem?

I managed to solve the problem by validating each font after installing it.
