over write some master page items (textframes only)

HI,

is there a way to not overwrite ALL master page items but just a couple of text frames?

Use the Allow master items override feature on the items you want to be able to do this with, but you might be better off with library items or snippets for this.

i got a layout from a client where everything is in masters and they want us to apply them and just edit text.

i just got the answer you shift +command and click on the item you want to overwrite.
