Overflow text from one table to another

Question

Is there any way to link overflow text from one table to another in Indesign CC like you do with text boxes? I've created a table that will need to be edited in the future. Short of deleting rows or adding rows, it would be nice if the tables were linked and when a row is added or deleted the copy flows accordingly. Help!

Make the text frame holding your table so small that the text overflows. Then create a new text frame from the red Warning:Overflow square, so it's linked. The table will cross over in the new text frame.

If you want it to look like two separate tables, each with its own header, select the original table's header row(s) and change their type to "Header". That means they'll automatically repeat in all linked text frames as well.

Yes. Simply double click the red + in the grip at the bottom right corner of the box that the first table sits in. It will create a new box and table that your content will overflow into. Keep doing this until you create a box that doesn't show the red +, meaning all of your content should be visible.
