Override Master pages Items in InDesign

Merci d'avance

    Hi,

Thank you for your reply and for your time, but it wasn't my question.

I have found the solution which consists in overriding elements from master pages (with ctrl + shift + click) instead of disassociating them.

By doing it this way, elements such as images blocks remain bound to the master pages but I still can edit the content.

That's what I was looking for.

    Hi Joannie,

Thanks for reaching out. I am afraid I did not understand your query. Are you trying to place a JPG image in InDesign and then try to edit it?

You can not edit placed in InDesign, please refer to this help article for more details: How to place, import, and insert images to InDesign

You can edit images with their native applications like Photoshop with Edit Original or Edit With options.

Let us know if this helps. If not, please share a few more details like:

    • OS (Exact version of Windows / MAC)
    • Version of InDesign
    • The exact workflow you are following (a small video would be a great help).

    Regards,

    Srishti
