I have created page numbers on my Master Pages and they work fine on a white page, but when I place a full page image on Master Page B (White numbers) the page number is not visible.
Any advise would be great.

On the Master page, cut the numbering, open the layer panel. create new layer and past the numbering on the top layer.
now choose the layer in the bottom. and complete your work on it.
the idea is to place the numbering on the master page on different layer on the top.
and your work inside the pages will be on the layer in the bottom. so the numbers will be always on the top if you have added a photo or a shape to any page on the document.
Keep your master items always in the top layer.
