Page previews do not appear in Pages panel and the cursor is a blue spinning ring

PC - Win11 - 32GBRAM, 8Gb GPU, Intel i9 12th gen

I’m working on a 32-page document with text and images.

I clicked or typed something (I don’t know what) and now the page previews do not appear in Pages panel and the cursor is a blue spinning ring, indicating the system is processing something. It works, when I click on things but I need the arrow back.

This happens whether Preflight is on or off.

Any ideas, anyone?

    Hi ​@Kusumas, just wanted to follow up on this conversation to check if you’re still experiencing this behavior? If yes, please let us know the version of InDesign as requested by Leo. Else, let us know if the suggestion by Leo to disable the Generative AI options from Preferences helped.

    First, try to disable Generative AI options in Preferences.

    Also, what’s your InDesign version?
