I’m trying to open a cloud based document for InDesign, but the app either hangs or crashes. The app is up to date, in the log there is the error:
“PagedTreePageReference: page type mismatch on load”
Presumably this file is corrupt? I don’t have any other versions - how can the page reference get reinstated?

    Thanks for sharing the details, and sorry you’re running into this. Since this is a cloud document, I’d suggest opening it from the InDesign Home screen first and checking if any previous cloud versions are available. If you’re able to open it, please try exporting it to IDML and then reopening that IDML to rebuild the page references.

    If the file won’t open at all, please download a local copy of the cloud document and test opening that copy in InDesign. If it still crashes, sharing your OS version, exact InDesign version, and a short screen recording of the crash would help me look into this further. Also, please let me know if you see the Adobe Crash Reporter when it crashes and whether you’re able to submit a crash report. If possible, you can also share the document link so I can test it further.
