Pages lost (turned black) in InDesign file after exporting to PDF

Hey,

I'm kinda new to InDesign but have beeen working on a file for a long time now. I made a pdf from my file, but after doing this some pages went missing in the InDesign file and turned into grey pages.

How do i get these back? When I tried to delete them InDesign told me that the pages contained content so it can't be that it has been deleted

Thanks in advance

    This looks like you have Fast Display selected under Object > Display Performance or/and View > Display Performance menu.

    I always set mine to High Quality Display.

    Why? It only slows down InDesign...

    @vincents63883719 , @Yvonne Hubner

    If you are on Macs - toggle on or off GPU Acceleration.

    If it doesn't help - try IDMLing as maybe your files got corrupted - export as IDML, open, save with a new name - do not overwrite your original INDD files.

    Hi vincents,

    It seems like images you linked on this file has been deleted or move from the location where they were saved initially.

    Please check explorer if the images are on same location or different location to you can re-link them.

    Check this link to re-link the images

    Manage linked or embedded graphics in Adobe InDesign

    Regards

    No, it's not about missing links. I can't believe I just noticed that this issue still happens since 2017 and Adobe has not fixed it. Time to to move to Affinity Publisher?
