Paragraph stlye not behaving

Why isn't my paragraph stly go to the next column just like the first time I did it??

It goes to the next colums because you set it up to go to the next column and keep with previous. Both at the same setting is contradictional.

Can you turn on View > Extras > Show/Hide Frame Edges and View > Extras > Show Text Threads - and then select any TextFrame of your thread and post a screenshot - or record new video - so we can see real structure of your document.

 

And please turn off Preview Mode.

  • I do not understand why you separated the lines in the lef column by forced return. Each line should be a separate pareagraph.
  • What are the text frame settings? Balance colums?
  • You keep them together with previous and next paragraph. THat ends up with not enough room in the current column.

No, that is not true. You used forced return (= shift + return). That is not a pparagraph, that is only a new line. 

Work clean, so you have less problems. I wrote 2 possible reasons above as you have keep with previous AND next. And you did nothing answer to the text frame options.
