Paragraph Style with defined dashed rule

Question

The boxes don't appear in paragraph styles to define a dashed rule width like they do when you just select the rules not in paragraph styles. Is there a way to do this and make it a style?

Hi @brendas88120519:

We can define custom dashed rules using Stroke Styles from the Stroke panel menu that will appear in the Type menu in Paragraph Rules and Paragraph Borders (also in the Type menu for custom underlines and strikethoughs) so can be part of a paragraph style definition.

But we are limited to one dash/gap pair, and not the three dash/gap pairs seen in the rectangle at the bottom of the Stroke panel.
