path to files is identical on both sides but ID does not accept the links

Hi, after a few hours of asking the same question in different constellations i need further advise:

I am running on Windows. I am planning to move from one storage location to another one. Paths to files stay identical

Path A:

\\storage\pictures\car.tif

Path B:

\\storage\pictures\car.tif

I made a test file and added a few items from A to an ID File. After saving shut down A and started B. Files are identical. Path is the same but ID is throwing link errors. I can relink the files, but i have many folders which i would need to relink by hand. So 50 links,  50 different folders. It does not automatically repair. 

Once the files are relinked by hand, no problem. Also if I save the broken file to idml links are ok. Means: if i open broken indd -> idml -> indd links are back and everything is fine.

Is there any other way of doing this?
