Pdf color difference

I have two files (one started as an actual copy of the original one) and when I esport them to PDF with the same settings I get two different results.

They are both RGBs and I'm using the Press preset to export them with the conversion turn off. The original file is nice and vibrant while the second one looks washed out.

Can someone please help?

I overlaid two screen shoot to show the difference in color

Is the Transparency Blend Space set to RGB for both docs?

yes, I think I found the issue, in the new document one of the text boxes was in CMYK instead of RGB.

I changed it to RGB and now it seems to export correctly

Are you viewing both in AcrobatPro or Reader?

When you turned off Color Conversion did you leave the Profile Inclusion Policy as Don't Include Profiles? That would be a problem with RGB color. Try exporting using the PDF/X-4 preset.
