PDF generation fails, 18.4 update is no good, bug

With update 18.4, when a pdf is generated, it fails on our rip for Agfa Apogee. Doesn't matter what kind of pdf is made. Spent 8 hours trying to figure it out. I put it back to 18.3 and its ok. Our workflow is dependent on this. Will be looked after?

    Forum Experts who are also on the Adobe beta testing teams have reported this to the engineers, so they know there is a problem. No idea yet when a fix will be available, so the advice is to roll back to 18.3.

     

    Are you running on an Apple OS? If so, tell us which one.

     

    FYI, I'm on Windows and haven't had problems generating interactive nor print/press PDFs.

    Please check other threads - looks like a lot of people are reporting similar problems lately. 

     

    I'm not following those threads so no idea if there is a solution - beside what you've done already - going back to 18.3.
