For a tutorial, you can watch David Blatner's course on lynda.com. If you've never joined, you can start with a 30-day trial membership. After that, it is a paid site.

A pdf can be imported into InDesign but it cannot be edited there. Acrobat itself has editing capabilities but they are limited. It is also possible to open a pdf in Illustrator and make some changes but Illustrator is also not recommended as a pdf editor. As far as your specific problem, could you be more specific as to what you need to do with this pdf? Can you open it at all in Acrobat or any other pdf viewer? Can you post a screen shot of exactly what is happening?

    Here is some specification:

Forst of all: yes i can open the file with adobre reader..

I just bought a Konica Minolta C258.. i wanted to print a both sided

"Carte Visite". but i had problems with the margin, the sides are never

superimposed. they told me that only with InDesigner or Illustrator i can

precisely adjust all the margins on both sides.

My client sent me the "Carte Visite" as a PDF file. I tried to open it with

indesigner it says that maybe i need a plug in.

Thank you for your concern sir :-).
