I have placed a word document in InDesign and I need to keep all of word formating.  The problem is that the document has lines on the text that i can't delete or change them.  I can do anything in the text but the lines are static, what can i do to change that.

What do you mean "lines on the text"? As in strikethrough, like this: strikethrough ?

If not, show a screen shot of the problem.

Or, click in an affected paragraph and in the associated Paragraph Style, make sure that Underline, Strikethrough, and Paragraph Rules are all checked "off."
