Placeholder copy is now Cyrillic

I've just upgraded to InDesign 18.3 and now my placeholder text has defaulted to Cyrillic. How can I change the default back to Roman?

    Hold the cmd (Mac) or ctrl (Win) key when selecting "fill with placeholder text."

    Thank you for that Bob.

    That will change the language for that individual text box. But I would like the default to be Roman so I don't have that extra step every time. The default used to be Roman, why has it changed and how do I change it back?

    Have you checked again to make sure it's not a sticky setting?
