Placing a Word Document in InDesign some of the content disappears

I do a lot of importing word documents into InDesign; lately, when I do, some of the word doc content disappears after getting through half the documents. Sometimes I can save what I have and it will show up but I'd like to find out a workaround so I don't have to.

Just to be clear... is the content actually disappearing, or is it lost in 'overset pages' when ID doesn't create enough doc pages to hold it all?

And are you importing Word docs using the Place command (and the easily-overlooked Options menu), or by cutting and pasting them into an ID frame? The first is far more preferable and reliable, especially if you learn to make use of the import options.

There is no one thing that would make a Word doc truncate itself, but any complex formatting like long tables, un-anchored illustrations and the like can cause faults.

Thanks for the reply. I add text frames for each section but I get to a certain point and I keep connecting the text frames to eliminate the overset text so I get as much as the original content I can get but to no avail, as it shows in the file I attached...

And I do use the place command with import options turned on...
