placing text from word to indesign-not working

I want place a word document into indesign ,but nothing happens.I removed pictures in file still not working.

Here's a couple more things to try: (1) Is it just this one Word file, or any Word file you try to place?

(2) You may need to restore the preferences and caches for InDesign. Here's how to do that:

If it's a .docx - can you save it as a .doc instead - see if that helps.

You might also try to drag and drop it into place from Explorer/Finder window.

You might also try copy and paste

But before you do

In InDeisgn go to the preferences and sure All Information is selected.
