Plugin menu behaviour

Hello,

My InDesign plugin has a menu that works fine on Mac but I observe some strange behavior on Windows:

When I click the menu, the menu jumps back to (and selects) some menu item on the left of my plugin menu item,

In other words: If I click the Plug-Ins menu, the Type (to the left) is expanded instead. Strange.

What can I do to fix it / what have I done wrong?
