Do not use copy/paste from Word. Use file > place and go from there. Check the paragraph and character panels as well as the paragraph and charcter style panels for any font overrides.

Before placing the document be sure nothing is selected in any styles panel.

Even when I import to document I have to same issue. Looks like that happen only whent there are words with those letters "ffi" efficace or so/ Then if I change to word efficace to an other one I dont have this issue anymore. It's really weird

On my computeur I only have OTF font. I have TTF but it's only on the company sharepoint.

That is probably the issue. I am pretty sure Word uses the TT fonts so they are in some way activated on your system. Try to deactivate all TT fonts, close all O365 software and restart InDesign afterwards – then copy the text from notepad without formatting into your new InDesign document. Does it work then?

Word uses the same fonts that are installed in the system that InDesign does. Disabling fonts without knowing what you're disabling is horrible advice and could lead to corrupting the user interface if they're system fonts.

I will further point out that most fonts with TTF extensions are actually OpenType, not TrueType.

There can be a number of reasons for this issue. First, did you check if you have two versions of the same font on your system. Maybe a TrueType and a OpenType version? If I am not mistaken, Word uses TT-fonts so this can cause trouble when you also simultaneously use OTF in your document.

If this is not the case, you should check if the font versions in InDesign and in your font manager have the same font ID. This could also be the cause of the problem.
