Presentation Mode Malfunctioning (again)

Enter Presentation Mode (Shift-W). The display reverts straight back to the "normal" mode. It just will not stay in presentation mode

 

What is also weird is that the behaviour is slightly different if you select the menu item (View/Screen Mode/Presenation) with the mouse. In that case it sort of displays, but the page order is messed up and it is not correct.

 

In both cases, turning GPU Performance OFF, fixes the problem.  This seems to be a new problem, as it was working yesterday! I've not updated any software since yesterday. 

 

Switching GPU Performance back ON and the problem is not there anymore. So, its not an ongoing issue for me, but I thought it worth reporting.

 

MacOS, M1. MacBook 16", single built-in display. 12.2 Monterey. InDesign 17.2.

We are sorry for the trouble. Would you mind updating InDesign to the latest version (17.2.1) from the Creative Cloud Desktop app? If you do not see the update available, I suggest you please wait for some time, as it's a phased rollout, so you might see it after some time.
