Question

Preventing Auto Full Screen on Videos

Hello

I'm creating an ebook for Web Publishing to be exported as a fixed layout .epub in which I've embedded a few very small video files that I've set to loop, and play on page load in the Media panel.

Upon exporting, the document I noticed that the video files not only automatically play on page load (which I want), but they also automatically open up in that light box style/full screen mode where the video gets centered on screen and the rest of the screen gets blacked out. I can tap the black area, and select to close the video and return to the ebook page, but then the video stops playing unless I press play again.

I want the video to automatically play, continue to loop, and stay on the page without opening a lightbox, full screen effect that the user has to X off. Is this possible ?

Thank in advance, Chris

Damn, was hoping someone would know this. Seems so simple, I just can't find the correct setting to adjust in InDesign, and I can't find the answer anywhere else on the internet.

I can't imagine that InDesign would force video files in a fixed layout .epub to go fullscreen without having an option to prevent this.
