Printing Page with White Image

I am trying to print a page of something I am working on, and while everything is working fine, there is an image I am using that is printing incorrectly.  It is a machine our company built that is an off-white color.  Whenever I am printing it, it seems to print half of the image in a bright white, and the other half in something closer to the actual color.  I have tried exporting to PDF (print and PDF/X-4) as well as printing directly from InDesign, and they all yield the same results.  I have tried 2 printers also.  They are just standard office printers (Dell and HP).  Is there a different or better way I should be doing this?  And while (think) I know my way around and have an ok grasp on the program, I am by no means an expert.

Well that is quote the bummer.  Is it just InDesign, or all CS6 programs?  I have noticed a few things here and there going awry when using the others (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver), but nothing major enough to ruin their basic functionality for my needs.  Do you think if I were to export it to PDF and print it from another computer, that may help?  Or would the underlying issues embed themselves into the file itself and pull it across to the other computers?

I think it's only InDesign CS6, some people don't have problems others do. But I can't say definitely that this is the cause of your issue.

Look in the Links panel to see if it's OK there.

Open the image in Photoshop to see if the original image looks OK.

A screen shot may help.

Here is a screenshot of my InDesign screen, as well as a quick picture of one I printed (through the Dell printer in the office).  I guess another question I would have, is there a way to enlarge the links panel icons at all?

The image looks as if it's had gradient put on the pic, how does it look if you open (just the image) in Photoshop?

Also have a look in the Layers panel to see if there's something causing the issue.

You can enlarge the Links panel from the side panel choose Panel Options...
