Printing won't work from Indesign only after the new Microsoft OS update

Hi!

I can't print any document from Indesign ever since my computer updated with the new Microsoft Update. All other applications are working fine, it's just the Indesign application that will not print. Is there an error with the Indesign CS6 application, or is it an error with the update?

I think both Bob and Steve have mentioned in previous forum posts that ID CS6 will not work with the latest version of Windows 10.

More problems will occur with newer updates of the OS.

It’s not that it definitely won’t work, but it is most definitely not supported. If printing is the only issue that should be considered good news. Export a PDF and print that.

Can also try running CS6 in Windows 7 compatibility mode.

Sorry Bob, I was sort of paraphrasing your previous posts. One in particular stating that

"They are not supported and Windows 10 is being continually updated. At some point everything is just going to break."

Too true. For the Mac side as well.

Even trying to run an older machine with the older software, one has to realize that eventually the motherboard is going to die.
