problem with the performance of InDesign after importing comments from a pdf file

Question

I have a problem with the effectiveness of InDesign after importing comments from a pdf file. This happens whenever the person making the corrections to the pdf file uses the "drawing tools" - rectangles, ovals etc. InDesign practically stops working.

Is there any way to solve this problem?

The version of InDesign & OS.
Is this happening with a specific file or multiple files?
If possible, please share a small video of the workflow and what exactly is happening at your end.
