Problem with typing in InDesign

Hi,

I am working with InDesign 2023 on a book in Presian (Farsi) language. Unfortunately I cannot type the dot "." in it. I gat instead a "%"! So I hva to change the language in German or English any time I need to type a dot. I am working with mac OS Ventura.

I get this problem only with InDesign. I can type "." in other programs as Word correctly.

Please help me.#

do you have an english keyboard? Or what else?

What keyboard layout is active in macOS / InDesign?

Thank you for your help. Yes, I have an english keybord. But, I have found that there must be a bug in the lateset vesion in InDesign (version 2023). I`ve changed to the former version and now I have no problems in writing in Arabic or Farsi.

It's probably because the period is mapped to the percent sign.

You might find some info on remapping keys in Mac Os Ventura online.
