No permite que se actualice dropbox por la existencia de archivos temprarios de indesign. Los pase a otro carpeta donde no se sincronizan pero toma mucha memoria y no puedo trabajar. Es necesario si o si usar cloud? Muchas gracias

First question: Are your Dropbox sync preferences set to this option:

If not, then you must use this option.

    > due to the existence of InDesign temporary files. I moved them to another folder
    > where they don’t sync but that takes up a lot of memory and I can’t work.

That doesn’t make much sense, sorry. Regardless, don’t move InDesign temp files anywhere (I assume you’re referring to .idlk files), they must be wherever they are.

    > Is it absolutely necessary to use cloud?

No, you don’t have to use any cloud services if you don’t want to and/or don’t have to.

Thanks for your reply. I'll try working outside of Dropbox, as you suggested. Many thanks!

Whether you use the cloud or not is up to you. It’s not a requirement. Can you simply save locally and back up to dropbox manually a few times per day.

I have dropbox but don’t use it for InDesign. I’ve had no trouble with OneDrive or Google Drive updating properly.
