Problems with colours in high res pdf export

Hi everyone,

I am exporting high res pdf's for a book. My problem is, when I export the pdf's the colours take on a very slight green hue and appear a bit darker. All of my images are CMYK, the document is set to CMYK and the output settings are set to CMYK Fogra. i am viewing the pdf's in acrobat so I assume the viewer isn't the problem

Can anyone tell me why this is happening and a possible solution?

Thank you!

Hi @andrewt13496653 , Does it happen if you export using one of the PDF/X presets? Are you viewing the PDF in Acrobat?

why do you place CMYK images. Place RGB images and let InDesign do the conversion with PDF export.

  1. What color profile do your images have when you place them?
  2. What color output profile does your exported PDF have?
  3. What color policy do you use in your color settings when you go from input to output profile?
  4. is your screen calibrated?
