Problems with Indesign CS3 version

Hello everybody,

My name is Yannick Hoogstrate and I work for a Dutch architectural firm. We work with the CS3 suite of Adobe.

Now we have issues with Indesign CS3, we are using it on a Mac OS High Sierra operating system. The issue is that, when we wan't to start up Indesign. We get grey screens all over the computerscreen and Indesign won't respond. We called for technical support and they told us that we had to post the issue on this forum. Please can somebody help us to get this version from Indesign working on our operating system? Thank you in advance.

CS3 is in no way supported under High Sierra. Additionally, the activation servers have been shut down so reinstalling will get an error without new installers. Details on that are available here:

In short, either upgrade to Creative Cloud or hit eBay for some old Macs to run the software on. There’s very little chance you’ll get it running properly on High Sierra.

you need to roll back your OS or upgrade your adobe indesign software.
