Question

Protection of images in an ePub

Hello,

I build a ePub with indesign. It's a book of pictures took by a photographer.

We absolutly wish to make impossible the download of the images if read on a computer.

Indesign doesn't have the option I know.

Which application may I use if I need to fill a css file and wich lines do I have to write? Is there an other way?

As it's possible to block the download of images in a website, I guess it's possible to do the same in an ePub.

Thank you by advance

Philippe

Hello,

Yes it's impossible to blok someone to have a print screen and I really know it.

The DRM is a right thing and I want the tool for that, that's all, it's not a folk.

We pay enough to have the right to have the tool for the DRM

Exemple: you have an option to make impossible the print for a pdf

It’s not impossible to print from a “protected” PDF or ePub.

It's as Bob states, apart from anything, anyone can take a screen-grab of any image.

See what I mean!

What you want to do is impossible. It's impossible to do on the web, too.
