Publishing online - images unclear

Hello, I was curious how to publish a portfolio created in Indesign without the images being unclear. My file size is 926 MB but every time I publish it online, the images are extremely low quality. Any other ideas on how to upload a portfolio to have it available to view with a link would be great. The file size is too large to send via email as a pdf.

For image quality, make sure to check 144 PPI resolution. 96 PPI is selected by default.

For PDF download, make sure to check the option to allow viewers to download.

I would recommend that you look into a real website to display your work. Adobe Portfolio sites are free with Creative Cloud subscriptions. Adobe Portfolio | Build your own personalized website

I already created the full portfolio in Indesign. It took me months and it is 58 pages. I definitely don't prefer to recreate it in Adobe portfolio. I tried that option initially and you are very limited on the formatting options. Thank you though
