Putting text over a photo

When I try to put a text box over a photo the text disappears but the text box shows. How do I get the text to show

    It reads as if you accidentally made text wrap a default. Delete the current text box and deselect everything. Check your text wrap panel to make sure it is off. Then make a new text box.

    Click on photo → in text wrap check INVERT

    the put text box onto photo.Thanks again so much. This is the BEST answer
