Question about QR codes created in InDesign

I recently created a QR code in InDesign, mainly because I needed it to be vector -for use on a large sign and maybe a banner too. My question is this ... what if ... years from now (when I retire), I cancel my Adobe CC membership? Will that QR code stop working?

I don't want to leave my client with permanent wooden signs and a QR code that no longer works.

QR codes are fixed and permanent. The only thing that can vary after creation is the destination of any data within them, such as URLs.

So called dynamic codes often rely on the creating service's handling redirection and tracking. If you don't put such addresses in an ID QR code, they aren't added.
