Hi

Please, I would like to know if there is a way to make the shape below directly in in design. I tried many times using all the diffents tools but I was not able to replicate it.

Thank you for your help,

Alexandre

Use the Bezier (pen) tool, combine it with the Pathfinder tool.

It could be done with two outlines (starting with a heart glyph converted to a shape, and a rounded rectangle) and bezier curves... but not easily. ID's shape management is fairly rudimentary and meant for simpler use like a shaped background or text box.

This is very much something to be done in powerful, suitable tool like Illustrator and then imported, scaled, colored etc. as necessary in a layout tool like InDesign.

James,

Thank you very much for your help. It makes totally sense doing it in illustrator and then imported to InDesign. Thank you for the tip.
