Hi, I'm having the same crash-code (<crash exception="EXCEPTION_UNKNOWN" exceptionCode="0xe06d7363" instruction="0x00007FFB9E4CCF19">) when my indesign launches. 

I can't update the latest indesign version (18.5) because my laptop has not the requiered RAM. What should I do to keep using indesign - I don't need the latest versions or functions of indesign to do my work, but now indesign crashes everytime when launching.

I need indesign on a daily base. Kind regards, Heleen

    What do you need the latest version for exactly?

    Try resetting your preferences:

    Windows: Start InDesign, and then press Shift+Ctrl+Alt. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
    macOS: While pressing Shift+Option+Command+Control, start InDesign. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
    A dialog will appear asking to delete the InDesign Preferences, select 'Yes' on this dialog.
