Read Only - Indesign Files

Out of the blue, most of my Indesign files are opening as "read-only".

I am current with my cloud updates.

I am working off a server on a PC in Windows.

I am the only one who uses these files.

I have checked the permissions and they appear to be correct and are set to read and write.

I have seen some suggested solutions online but they are for MAC users only.

I have had our tech people take a look but they have been unable to find a solution.

Does anyone know of a solution for Windows users or is this yet another Adobe glitch that we must suffer with?
