How do I recover a deleted file? I found where my recovered files are for indesign but there are no programs (including indesign) that will open the recover file up.

    What do you mean by "recovered?" If you were working in a Dropbox or OneDrive folder you'd be able to save a deleted file. Otherwise, there is no reason to think you'll have any success in saving a file you deleted.

    Perhaps a bit more information from you might help, though.

    It is vital that you make regular and incrementally named back-up copies of your documents and also keep copies externally. That way when (not if) you have a corrupt or deleted file, you can at least return to an earlier version.

    Hi,

    What is the format of the files that you stated as "recovered files"?

    If the files are deleted, you can only recover them from the recycle bin.
