Question

Refining spellcheck so that it doesn't flag words that start with a capital letter

Hi,

I have a very long document full of proper nouns. Is there a way to run Indesign's spellcheck to stop it flagging foreign placenames, people etc (which start with a capital letter), and so make the spellcheck process much quicker? Thank you for any help.

And be sure you tag foereign words with the correct languyage so that language dictionary is used to check them, or assign them No Language, in which case they will not be checked at all.

Hello, you should add or create your own dictionary with all the settings you need.
