Question

Reformat Multiple Pages Quickly

Soon I'm going to be handed a 60+ page InDesign file that I know is going to be a complete mess. I know there will be common elements (Header, footer, page number, etc) that I can put into a parent template and apply to multiple pages. The rest of the content will be mainly a page title and one big block of copy with supporting graphics.

Is there a way to whip into shape the common elements like the big text block? By "whip into shape" I mean set x/y coordinates, width, and height and, ideally, apply paragraph styles.

Thanks!

You can apply the size and location with an object style which can also include the appropriate paragraph styles.
