Reinstalling InDesign 19.2

I have recently reinstalled Creative Cloud on a new laptop, and am needing to use InDesign 19.2 for a newspaper system we run across a large team. I am unable to locate this particular version in the “other versions” dropdown. Has Adobe stopped supporting this older version?

Correct answer leo.r

That's correct, Adobe supports only two versions: the current and one previous (2026/2025). There's no official way to download earlier versions. But then the managers of your large team must be already aware of this and may have a solution.

Since the version you are looking for is relatively recent it might be worthwhile for you to contact Adobe through Adobe Customer Care https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html and plead your case to them. It is possible but not guaranteed that they will be able to provide a download link for you.

Adobe only offers the 2 latest versions. This is een issue for all who have invested in automation and workflow solutions which are bound to specific versions of the Adobe Applications. Larger enterprise companies deploy applications using ADE/DEP and could have local package files. Check your IT department for support ...

Yes thank you, the support team only offer 19.0 or 19.5 at this stage.

If that’s what they’re offering take 19.5 and use that. You will be fully compatible with anyone using 19.2.
