Relink Images Based on IPTC Field

Is there a script available that will relink images based on a specified IPTC field instead of the image's filename? In my case I need a script that will relink based on the ITPC field "source."

The images in question have already been renamed, but the original filename + ext (the one InDesign is looking for) is in the IPTC Source field.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
