repeated command of generating QR code from each text frame

I have a long list (spreadsheet) of item names which I am converting to QR codes (text only). Each name (wrapped in frame) per cell and respecfully per frame needs to have corresponding QR code in another frame next to it. Each spread is a size of standard label 3"x1" with 3 frames per spread, each frame is 1"x1",: item name, QR code, image.

What is the best and most efficient way to populate above described comand for over 500 items, each in its own spread with 3 equal frames per spread. Left frame is test item name (wrapped), center frame is QR code per name on left, right frame is a photo.

I have all names in spreadsheet, I am not aware of easy way to generate QR codes in excel, I am not aware of indesign command that would populate same comand of generating QR code based on text frame, images I suppose will be added manually.

Hope the above description makes sense and explains what I am tryintg to do.

Thanks in advance for your help!

InDesign's data merge can create QR codes from text in an excel file, though the syntax may need to be slightly adjusted. This article https://creativepro.com/data-merge-qr-codes-explained/ goes into perhaps the detail you might need.

If the answer wasn't in my post, perhaps it might be on my blog at colecandoo!
