Review links issue

Question

I am working on a magazine, and I normally always do one file with several magazine covers for the team to choose from, and another file with all the magazine content. Each have their own review link. The issue I found is that one I export the second review link, when I go back into the other file the comments and review link is all from the second review link, and I cannot update the first document with the changes on the first review link I created. It. creates a new link and gets rid of all the the other comments on that file that I was saving for other people to review. How can i solve this? I have tired using Indesign Beta and Indesing 2025. Restarting Indesign and even the computer and this keeps on happening. Can I not have more that one active review link working at the same time? Doesn't make much sense if that is the case.

Thanks for sharing the details! I understand how frustrating this must be. I’ve tried reproducing your issue, but it works fine on my end-I’m able to maintain multiple review links with their comments intact.

Could you try resetting InDesign preferences to see if that resolves the issue? Here’s how: Set preferences in InDesign.

If the issue persists, could you share your files (or sample versions of them) so I can test further? This will help pinpoint the problem and provide a precise solution.
