After installing the ROBOTO fonts, I received an error message from Creative Cloud and then all Roboto fonts generated errors. Now when I open any Indesign file, all Roboto fonts are not recognized.

We saw something similar last week when the user had the same font installed from a different vendor (as per @Brad @ Roaring Mouse’s question). Roboto is available from Google, DaFont, FontSquirrel so one of those may be causing the conflict.

When you go looking for other versions, it’s also important to note that fonts can be installed in a variety of folders. We can give you more info on where to look if you let us know your OS.

Or are you on Mac and have recieved an InDD file from someone working on Windows? Look at the same topic.

Did you install the fonts from somewhere other than Adobe Fonts previously?

What was the error? Did you try reinstalling the font? What is the OS version? Provide these details so that someone can provide you with better ideas to try.
