Rollover button makes layout grey

Hi,

When I create a simple rollover button in InDesign, rolling over the button causes the entire layout to go grey in the pdf!

I've tried reinstalling InDesign (17.2.12), but that didn't solve it!

I've made rollover buttons many of times and never had this issue before.

Attached is a very simple rollover example where it happens.

Can anyone help?

Forget it. The capabilities of those two formats have very little in common. Also, keep in mind that rollovers do not work on mobile devices. This project needs to be thought out differently.

You tagged the post with EPUB and posted a PDF. Which is it and how are you testing.

I would personally never use buttons in PDF anymore. It's too unpredictable.

Hi Bob thanks for your reply.
Ideally it was for both - I want to do a presentation as a EPUB - but distribute the interactive pdf version afterwards. (as requested by a client).
