Run Indesign Server with GPU on Mac Mini?

Hi,

we successfully set up an EC2 mac2.metal instance (i. e., a mac mini with M1 chip) where we can run our InDesign server. During our experiments we used the activity monitor and powermetrics command line tool and discovered that requests against the soap API don't use the GPU acceleration. The request starts some small jsx script which in turn uses a small template file to create a PDF with two pages.

Is there any way to enable GPU acceleration for the indesign server? Or is it a feature only for the InDesign client? The available documentation ( https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/gpu_performance.html ) sounds like GPU accelaration is only applied for displaying stuff on screen and not for the rendering ( creation ) of the output.
