running indesign 21.4.1 on venture 13.7.8, getting not responding messages for indesign when trying to edit spacing and tabs in tags. Is ventura the problems or do you have any suggestions on recovering my file?

I’m sorry to hear about your experience with InDesign. I hope Bob’s suggestions helped resolve the problem. If not, please try updating macOS (https://support.apple.com/en-us/108382) and try running InDesign under a different administrator account (macOS) and share your observations.

Have you tried resetting your preferences? Does it happen with just this file or others? The rest of your system specs might help but is there some reason you’re still on Ventura?
