Question

Same font/size displays noticeably larger in a different text frame

Same font, size, weight displaying noticeably larger in one text frame out of three on the page where it's used. The leading is consistent.

Why would be interesting, more useful: how to fix. Just throw out the text frame and start over?
In the screenshot, "d" is highlighted in 2 different text frames to show the difference in size.

Hi @jeannehilary , just in case it isn’t clear, I think Willi’s translation should be parenthesis—when a text frame has been scaled the scaled point size is listed in parenthesis. Here the starting point size is 20 and the scaled point size is 24.3:

When you put the text curser into the frames, is the text size in one panel in dashes? If it so, the text frame has been scaled, Reset it.

Hello, Willi, thank you for being up so late.

No dashes, but all the text frames have been scaled as a group. If this is wrong, I didn't know it. Do you mean if I replace these scaled items with new ones that will clear the issue?

Thanks!

A yes, I see this thing I have never seen before! But the option to redefine is grayed out.
There is no font size in parentheses. But I did reset the weird "14.38" after scaling to 14 pt. in the character panel.
Thank you so much! So back to my manual plan in this case, or is there a way to activate the redefine option?
